Multidisciplinary chemical engineer investigates multiphase chemical reaction engineering and heterogeneous catalysis research for advanced mobility applications and for renewable small-molecule chemicals and fuels at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) in Golden, CO (research bio: https://www.nrel.gov/research/staff/nicholas-thornburg.html).
I have professional experience in industrial R&D (former 3M intern; Ph.D. research funded by The Dow Chemical Company), government research (NREL) and technical consultancy (E2Bio Life Sciences; ARCADIS). I have also completed a technical management certificate program through the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
